Ruffles's ideal home
Ruffles in an endearing two-year-old little lady with a huge heart, gentle temperament, and bundles of love to give. She would be happy to share her home with calm primary-school aged children, who could be sensible around her and allow her some space when she needs it. While a friendly and sociable girl with other dogs, Ruffles would prefer to be the only pet at home, so that she could have all the attention to herself! Ruffles is seeking understanding adopters, as she does have medical needs, including luxating patellae and malformation in her legs. While she is still a happy little thing and this doesn’t seem to faze her, Ruffles may require pain-medication as she gets older. Her adopters will also need to ensure they moderate the amount of exercise they give her, and it would be beneficial to teach her to use a ramp for getting in and out of the car. Minimal steps, non-slip or carpeted flooring, and a garden to call her own would also be ideal. Equally, a garden would be beneficial as Ruffles isn’t yet housetrained and this is something she’ll require support with.

Despite her medical needs, Ruffles is full of fun and has an adorably playful nature. She loves to rag her toys around and will happily engage with her people pals or play on her own. She’s also keen to explore on her walks and loves to investigate new places for a good sniff, but it’s important to keep walks shorter. Other than toys and adventures, Ruffles loves to meet up with her canine companions or spend quality time with her favourite humans.
