About This Dog

Brian's ideal home

Brian and Harry are a loveable duo of older dogs, looking for a patient, understanding home where they can continue their lives side by side. These bonded boys would like to live in a smaller residential area, with access to a secure garden, where they can potter about and enjoy gentle daily routines. They would prefer to be the only pets in the home, as Brian can be reactive to other dogs at a distance, and both boys are happiest just enjoying each other's canine company. They are older gentlemen who enjoy a slower pace of life, so patient adopters who are happy to build up time left alone gradually and respect Brian’s more sensitive nature will suit them perfectly. They could live with secondary school-aged children who understand the importance of giving them space and reading their body language, and while visitors are fine, they would appreciate a calm approach without too much attention.

Could you be Brian's perfect match?

Together, Harry and Brian are a wonderfully endearing pair who complement each other beautifully. Brian is the more sensitive soul, a gentle, sweet and affectionate boy who can take a little time to build trust but forms a deeply rewarding bond once he does - he adores a cuddle and will happily curl up as the perfect lap dog! He enjoys quiet, sniffy walks where he can explore at his own pace, before enjoying a peaceful evening curled up beside you. Neither boy is interested in toys or play, but what they offer instead is companionship, loyalty and the simple joy of having two sweet-natured dogs by your side.
