Max is on the lookout for his a family who will back him, believe in him, and give him all the cuddles he deserves! This five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier might be small, but his personality is anything but. He is a smart, sensitive little chap who forms strong bonds and loves nothing more than sharing life’s adventures with his family.
Max has lived with children before and could do so again after a few introductions. He needs to be the only pet in the home, and would really love a peaceful household without lots of visitors coming and going. With some gentle encouragement and a bit of patience, Max will soon blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

Max is a proper little character — full of curiosity, full of life, and full of affection for the people he knows and trusts. Once he has built a bond with you, he is all about the cuddles, snuggles, and showing off his best 'sit', 'paw', and 'down' tricks!
He loves a good sniffari walk, enjoys a gentle fuss, and will even get stuck into a game of tug when he is in the mood. Although he is not the biggest fan of meeting strangers, he really shines when he feels safe and settled.
Max is happy to travel in the car, relaxed around traffic, and such a good boy at vet visits and grooming sessions. He is still working on his housetraining and building his confidence around new things, but with the right people by his side, Max has all the makings of a brilliant best friend.
