Juno's ideal home
Say hello to Juno! She’s a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier who is looking for a lovely family to help her feel less worried about the world. Juno’s perfect home would be on the quieter side of life, with everyone in the family being teenagers and older. She would love a garden to explore, as she is super curious and loves getting her nose to the ground! Juno can make friends with other small, calm dogs when she’s out on walks, but she has been known to grumble at bigger/bouncier dogs, and she’d definitely prefer to be the only dog at home. This sweet little lady has so much potential, and we know she’ll make her forever family very happy!
Could you be Juno's perfect match?
Juno was found as a stray before being brought into our care, so we have limited information on her background. She has some solid housetraining skills, and she walks really nicely on the lead. She likes to keep busy and enjoys exploring new places, and with her terrier brain, she’ll benefit from enrichment activities when she feels less nervous. Juno currently enjoys short intervals of fuss on her own terms, and we think that she’s very likely to become a snuggly sofa dog in her forever home! Juno can be a bit vocal when she wants attention or when she’s left by herself, but with some patience and support from her new owners, we think she’ll eventually cope being home alone for 4-6 hours. She’s not a fan of visiting the vets, and she may benefit from muzzle training to help her cope in this environment. Juno is such a lovely dog who’s definitely missing her home comforts, and we can’t wait to see her living her best life in her new home.
