Barney is a fabulous four-year-old Terrier looking for a fun-loving home and an active lifestyle. He could potentially share his home with another dog and would enjoy doggy pals to socialise with when out and about. Barney will need a home without cats or small furries and he has no history with livestock. Barney could share his home with secondary school aged children. He is friendly around new people and visitors; he could cope with a reasonably busy home environment. He adores company and time left alone is best built up gradually. He is housetrained and he travels well in the car.

Barney is a social butterfly around people and dogs; he is well-rounded and will make a lovely companion. He loves to go on long walks on the beach or explore a local woodland. He enjoys playing with his toys, and his favourites are balls, squeaky toys, and a game of tuggy. When the active, fun day comes to an end Barney loves to snuggle up on the sofa and cosy up in a blanket with his people. He’s an affectionate boy who adores a belly rub and being close. He is a real foodie and keen to show off his tricks for treats and learn new ones. Barney is described by his foster carer as ‘having a fun personality, and a fun character.”
