About This Dog for Adoption

Sasha's ideal home

Sasha is on the search for her forever home with adopters who will shower her with love and attention. She can find being left for long periods of time stressful and therefore would like her adopters to be around for most of the day to help her settle in. As Sasha only had one eye, her adopters needs to be cautious of what she can see near her, and approaching her for handling. Sasha would currently like to be the only dog in the home but has the potential to live with another in the future- she can be intense with her playstyle so would like to continue her dog socialisation. She can live with older primary school aged children in the home. It is not essential for Sasha to go to a home with a garden pending that she gets enough opportunity to go outside. She does have some medical considerations that will be discussed with our vet team upon a booking.

Could you be Sasha's perfect match?

Sasha is a sweet girl who loves being around her favourite people. She loves lots of attention and a tasty treat. Sasha likes going out on her walks and finding doggy friends who can match her playstyle. Sasha hasn’t shown much interest in soft toys but does find the harder ones interesting and fun. Sasha knows her name, sit, stay, come and has good recall as well as being housetrained. She will make a wonderful addition to her forever home.

Jack Russell Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Jack Russell Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
