About This Dog for Adoption

Asher's ideal home

Asher is a beautiful little man who has arrived with us with little previous history. He's been a pleasure to care for and has been very friendly with everyone he meets. He's quite happy to potter around having lots of sniffs before having some fuss and attention from his carers. With his friendly nature we think he could happily live with any age children following a meeting here at the centre. As we don't know much about his past, he may need some help with the basics of life in a home including housetraining and learning how to settle and relax when home alone. He likes his food and does do a very fabulous "sit" for a tasty treat, but in true terrier style it isn't long till his back to following his nose and exploring! At the moment, we're still assessing how Asher interacts with other dogs so he will need to be the only pet for now however this may change as we learn more about him.

Could you be Asher's perfect match?

Asher is a super little man who will bring so much love to his forever family. Content with doing his own thing or having some fuss, Asher gives the best of both worlds! If you're looking for a fun and happy little companion, Asher could be your paw-fect match!

Jack Russell Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Jack Russell Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
