Roland's ideal home

Roland is a sensitive little lad who is looking for a quiet home. He won’t want to live with young children, but sensible teenagers who can take a hands-off approach at first would be fine. Roland does mix with other dogs but is quite nervous and would like to be the only dog in the home for now.

Roland is a 1-year-old Dachshund/Terrier cross. He came to us from a home through no fault of his own. Roland is very sweet and enjoys the company of people, though can be a little nervous when first meeting new faces. He loves to play ball and get zoomies, and will happily keep himself entertained. Roland tries to stay housetrained in kennels and with access to a garden of his own should pick it back up again in no time. He would prefer time left alone to be built up from scratch but has positive associations with the car so trips out with his family would be welcomed. He is a lovely little boy who will blossom with the help of a patient family.
