About This Dog for Adoption

Bobby's ideal home

Bobby is a fantastic boy that is looking for patient owners who can help him with his training. Bobby sadly didn't have the best start in life so needs someone who can teach him all about the world and carry on his training. Bobby previously lived with another dog, however we have seen he can become frustrated and over-aroused with other dogs, so would need careful intros and management in the home initially. Bobby is happy to be left for up to 4 hours with some toys or a lovely chew to keep him busy. He is a young energetic boy who would love to go out on adventures with his new family.

Could you be Bobby's perfect match?

Bobby is looking for a home with children 10 years and older, due to his energetic nature. He is very excited when first meeting people and tends to jump up, so needs some work on this area of his training. Bobby does have the potential to live with another dog, pending a successful meet at the centre. He can become frustrated on the lead when seeing other dogs, so looking for a home that can carry on his training in this area. Bobby is a fantastic boy who did not get the best start, and is now looking for a loving home to call his own.

Jack Russell Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Jack Russell Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
