About This Dog for Adoption

Radish's ideal home

Radish is a super fun and energetic little guy who is ready to find his pawfect match! He's full on energy and always ready for his next adventure. He loves nothing more than being out in the runs here at the centre, zooming around and enjoying lots of sniffs. Radish is an affectionate boy, who enjoys sitting on his carers laps getting all the attention he so rightly deserves. He has come into our care with little previous history so is looking for patient adopters who can help him learn all he needs to know! This will include things such as housetraining and learning how to spend time home alone, which we recommend is gradually built up once he's settled in. We're currently still assessing Radish's interactions with other dogs, so he will need to be the only pet in his forever home. This may change as we learn more about him. Due to his friendly nature, Radish could live with any age children following a meeting here at the centre. He can be quite bouncy, so they will need to be confident around excitable dogs.

Could you be Radish's perfect match?

Radish is a super fun boy who will bring so much love and excitement to his forever home. Despite his small size, he has bags of personality and loves to get as much attention as he can!

Ritchie's ideal home Ritchie is an older chap looking for a fresh start. He’s a friendly chap who has been really happy to meet new faces here. Jack Russell Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Jack Russell Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
