About This Dog

Chino's ideal home

Chino is a fun-loving Jack Russell cross Shih Tzu with a big personality and an even bigger love of laps. He loves his bed and his food, but he’s not too keen on sharing them—so he’ll need to be in an adult-only, single-pet home where his space is respected and routines are consistent & our training team are on hand to support with this. Chino enjoys toys, loves being brushed (which is helpful, as he has quite the quirky coat!), and thrives on calm, positive interactions. He also has some medical needs, which our wonderful vet team will be happy to discuss with potential adopters.

Could you be Chino's perfect match?

Although he can bark at other dogs, Chino is able to walk alongside them calmly after an introduction, and with the right support, would benefit from a few steady walking friends to help show him the world isn’t so scary. He may be sensitive, but he’s also full of charm and character—and in the right home, with lots of lap time and understanding, he’ll be a truly rewarding companion.
