About This Dog

Hunter's ideal home

Hunter is a wonderful boy who has come into our care due to the ill health of his owner. While initially a bit nervous, once he’s had chance to feel comfortable with you he can be a bit of a pocket rocket and stronger than he looks. With this mix (and a history of knocking over small humans!) he’s not able to live with young kids. Older children, maybe of about secondary school age would be no problem though. Hunter has potential to live with calm, quiet dogs, pending a successful mix in the centre prior to adoption.

Could you be Hunter's perfect match?

Hunter is 1 year old Staffy/Terrier Cross and has many of the typical Staffy breed traits. A family who understands the breed would be just what he’s looking for. Hunter will jump into a car but has only travelled in the car once, so would benefit from this being introduced slowly to ensure he’s confidence. Once he’s settled in Hunter should be ok being left home alone for one or two hours. Housetraining shouldn’t take him long either, as he’s tried really hard to keep his kennel clean. For anyone looking for a young, small, snuggly Staffy then Hunter just might be your perfect match.
