Ellie's ideal home
Ellie is a sweet little Poodle cross Jack Russell with lots of love to give. Having come into our care from a home, she has already mastered the basics of family life. She is housetrained, settles well indoors, and is happy to be left for a couple of hours, making her an easy companion for many households. Ellie can find other dogs a little overwhelming and will need to be the only dog in her new home. However, she can enjoy calm, respectful walking companions who will help her build positive associations and learn that other dogs don't have to be scary.
As a Poodle cross, Ellie is used to being groomed and takes it all in her stride. Her new family should be prepared to keep up with her grooming routine, with trips to the groomer approximately every eight weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Ellie also appreciates having her own space. She doesn't enjoy being disturbed or fussed over while she's resting, so she's looking for an adult-only home where her boundaries will be understood and respected.
