Reggie's ideal home

Reggie is looking for a calm and quiet home with no visiting dogs, he would like gentle adopters who will take him on fun adventures and give him all the care he deserves. He can live with children aged 12 years and over who will play nicely with him and can read when he is uncomfortable and give him space when he needs it. Reggie can be uncomfortable around other dogs, especially larger dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, he will be going home on a muzzle and lead disclaimer and will need his adopters to advocate for his space when out and about. Reggie has a little training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and is eager to try something new for a tasty treat, he will need adopters who will continue his ongoing muzzle training. He has been housetrained but may need a refresher in his new home so a private, secure garden is needed. Reggie is very worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time and can keep him company and make him feel safe, with the potential to build up leaving after he has settled in. Reggie will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home and will likely need a home trial so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Happy little chappie Reggie is an almost 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross Pinscher, whose favourite things in life are a tasty treat, a squeaky toy and lots of sniffy adventures. He can be a little apprehensive to begin who but once he gets to know you Reggie will become the ultimate lap dog, jumping into your lap for a fuss, he will wander off when he’s done. He loves to chase after toys that are thrown for him. This awesome lad is ready to find his new home.
