Meet Ralph, a lovely 16-year-old Chihuahua who may be an older gentleman, but he has plenty of love to give! Ralph is coping well in kennels and spends much of his time cuddled up with his best friend, Lucky, who he is looking to find a home with. Outside of his kennel, Ralph enjoys happily and curiously exploring new places, although he prefers to keep things at a slower pace as he is an older lad. He is very happy being handled by his carers and is relaxed when being brushed. Ralph absolutely adores people and is instantly friendly when meeting someone new. He loves nothing more than a fuss, affection and being close to his favourite people. Toys don’t really interest him, Ralph would much rather have cuddles!

Ralph could live with secondary school-aged children who understand that, as an older chap, he needs a calm and gentle pace of life. He can be left for short periods of time as he enjoys having a cosy nap, although this would need to be gradually built up once he has settled into his new home. Ralph is a super-friendly, affectionate old boy who will happily stick by your side and soak up all the love you have to give. He would be happiest in a calm, loving home where he and Lucky can enjoy their golden years together, surrounded by comfort, companionship and plenty of fuss.
