Ding's ideal home

Ding Dong, anyone out there for eight-year-old Ding? He is a really sweet boy who hasn't had much experience with living in an indoor home environment. He is therefore looking for patient and calm adopters who could help him settle in at his own pace. He could live with older teenagers who will appreciate that he may be easily overwhelmed by too much handling in the early days of getting to know him. Ding would like his own garden to explore and should be the only pet in the home, although would be happy to have some dog friends to go on walks with. He would love to have someone around all of the time initially, just until he has settled in and feeling comfortable enough to be left for short periods. If you rent your property, please ensure you have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.

Ding is a lovely, sweet boy who can be a little conflicted about what he wants. He loves meeting people and cosying up to you on your lap, but at the same time will show signs of being a little anxious about it. Adopters should be able to read his body language and take things slow in the beginning until he has gotten to know you. Ding lived in outdoor kennels in his previous home, so will understandably take a little time to get used to experiencing household noises. Ding would love his new home to be somewhere relatively quiet, where there won't be many visitors to the house to start with. Given time and patience, Ding will be an amazing companion for the right family.
