Pebbles is a sweet older girl looking for a quieter, calmer home to enjoy her retirement in. Pebbles is such an adorable girl who's favourite past times include going for a nice walk, pottering in her own garden, snacking on a tasty hot dog and then snoozing the day away on the sofa. Don't be fooled by her age, Pebbles loves going for daily walks. She walks nicely on the lead and often gets a little spring in her step when she knows she going for a wander. She is not a fan of other dogs, so would prefer to walk in areas with fewer dogs around. But a tasty treat is usually enough to distract her to walk past them when she's out and about. Adopters need to be mindful that Pebbles will need to be kept on a lead whilst out on walks. Pebbles would like to be the only pet in the home but could live with children aged 14 and older who can appreciate her nervous nature and take it slow with her. Once settled, Pebbles leaving hours could be built up to 1-2 hours.

At 15-year-old, Pebbles has lived quite a sheltered life and will need adopters who can take it slow with her and help teach her that the world is not such a scary place. Pebbles is a very sweet girl but is worried about handling, she will often put herself in situations she is not comfortable with. Adopters will need to be very gentle with her and fuss should be kept to short bursts, allowing her time to move away if she chooses to. Once she gets to know you and her confidence grows, Pebbles does enjoy having a snooze whilst sitting on your lap.
