About This Dog

Deano's ideal home

Deano is an 8 year old Terrier X who has lived quite a sheltered life so far. He is looking for a patient and understanding home that understand his nervous nature and can allow him to settle into his new home at his own pace. Deano has come from a home with other dogs but any dog interactions should be carefully managed as he has not been used to meeting unknown dogs. He would like to be the only pet in his new home to help him settle in. Deano is a sweet boy but can be worried by new people so any children in the home should be of Older Secondary School age who can appreciate his nervous nature. He will need his own secure garden to provide him a safe space while he is building confidence with the outside world as it will be a while before he is ready to go on walks. Once settled leaving hours could be built up.

Could you be Deano's perfect match?

Deano is a sweet boy, once he knows you he enjoys a gentle fuss and will show his playful nature. He can be worried by new experiences and new people. Deano would like a family that are happy to let him explore his new home and come out of his shell in her own time.
