About This Dog

Peanut's ideal home

Pepper & Peanut are 11 year old Terrier crossbreeds who have lived quite a sheltered life so far. They are very bonded and would like to find a new home together. They are looking for a patient and understanding home that understand their nervous nature and can allow them to settle into their new home at their own pace. They have come from a home with other dogs but any dog interactions should be carefully managed as they have not been used to meeting unknown dogs. They would like to be the only pet in their new home to help them settle in. Pepper and Peanut are sweet boys but can be worried by new people so any children in the home should be of Older Secondary School age who can appreciate their nervous nature. They will need their own secure garden to provide them a safe space while they are building confidence with the outside world as it will be a while before they are ready to go on walks. Once settled leaving hours could be built up.

Could you be Peanut's perfect match?

Pepper and Peanut are sweet boys who can be timid. They can be worried by new experiences and new people. Pepper is the more inquisitive of the two and Peanut gains confidence from him. Once they know you, they enjoys a gentle fuss. They would like a family that are happy to let them explore their new home and come out of their shells in their own time
