Super energetic girl Mavis is a 6 year old Jack Russell who loves being involved in everything. She is very playful and loves her toys, balls are her favourite, she loves a good game of fetch. She does like soft toys and teddies but does tend to defluff them. She enjoys a good fuss and will lean on you for more and then crawl onto your lap for ultimate snuggle time. This super girl is ready to find her new home.
Could you be Mavis's perfect match?
Mavis is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with older primary school children who will play with her nicely and will read when she needs space to rest and relax and will give it to her. Mavis could live with similar sized dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, although living with another dog is not a necessity, she would be happy with playful and friendly walking buddies. Mavis has little training under her belt, she is eager to engage in training in short, sweet sessions as long as a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private or communal, secure garden for her to potter about in at her leisure. Mavis can settle nicely so could be left for up to 4 hours, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Mavis will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
