Isla's ideal home
Isla is a thirteen-years-young Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving home. She could share her home with children eleven-years-old plus. She is looking to be the only dog in the home and a home without cats or small furries. She has no history around livestock. She is housetrained. She travels okay in the car but may bark. She is friendly with visitors to the home and could cope with a reasonably busy home environment. Once settled in a new home she is happy to be left alone for a few hours at a time. Isla will need a secure garden with no gaps in the hedges or fences.

Isla is a sprightly girl, you wouldn’t believe she is a senior lady! She is always excited for and enjoys a lovely walk. She doesn’t want a lot from other dogs; she doesn’t mind walking alongside calm dogs and is happy to just do her own thing. Isla isn’t bothered by toys, she is motivated by food though, so how about a snuffle mat, a likki mat, or an easy-to-do food puzzle toy, and you could also play scent games by hiding some kibble or treats around the house or garden. Isla knows a sit, and it is never too late to learn new tricks using positive reward training.
