About This Dog

Bucky's ideal home

Bucky is a sweet-natured seven‑month‑old crossbreed who is still learning about the world. He can be a little timid at times, especially when he meets new people or encounters unfamiliar situations, but with gentle reassurance and positive interactions his confidence quickly grows. He genuinely wants to greet people and other dogs when out on a walk, and although he may hesitate at first, he warms up beautifully with calm encouragement. Bucky could live with sensible children aged 5 and over, as long as they can give him space when he needs it and interact with him in a calm, understanding way.
He’s doing very well with his housetraining and is almost fully settled in that area. Bucky travels nicely in the car, though he currently needs a bit of help getting in. As a young dog, he will need his time alone built up slowly so he can feel secure and learn that being by himself is nothing to worry about.

Could you be Bucky's perfect match?

Bucky loves his walks, particularly in quieter places where he can take his time and explore. Sniffing through long grass is one of his favourite activities, and he enjoys taking in all the scents around him. On lead he can get excited, but he is responding well to training and is eager to learn. He is highly motivated by treats, toys, and praise, and he especially loves playing with tennis balls.
Bucky needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to support him as he continues to grow in confidence. A calm home with steady routines and positive guidance will help him flourish into the happy, assured dog he wants to be. In return, he will bring warmth, fun, and so much affection to the right person. If you are looking for a young dog who will bond closely with you, enjoy gentle adventures, and learn alongside you, Bucky may be the perfect match.
