About This Dog for Adoption
Jack's ideal home
Meet Jack, the terrific 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier who loves a game of “tug of war”. He will bring you his raggy toy ready to play, he will happily a chase ball or a squeaky toy, but only in short bursts. When out for walks he likes to be out in front, sniffing and exploring everything around him, after a good walk he likes nothing more than a snuggle and snooze on the sofa. This wonderful chap is looking for his new family, could it be you?
Could you be Jack's perfect match?
Jack is looking for a calm and relaxed home with adopters who will take him on sniffy strolls, will play with him and give him all the love and care he deserves. He is a polite and friendly bean who could live with older secondary school children who understand that he is an older boy and may need space to rest and relax and will leave him be. Jack could live with a calm and friendly dog who will happily co-exist with him, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity, he would love to have polite and friendly walking buddies. He has a some training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit” and “bed”, he is not that interested in doing training, but can be encouraged with the help of a tasty treat. He would like a home with a private garden to potter around in. Jack gets worried being left alone so would need his adopters to be home the majority of the time or they would need to take him with them, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in to his new home. Jack will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
