Percy's ideal home

Percy is a handsome four-year-old Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving home. He could share his home with children as young as eleven. He’s looking to be the only dog in the home and will need a home without cats or small furries. He has no history around livestock. Percy is used to having constant company and dislikes being left alone so will therefore be needing a home where someone is around most of the time. Time left alone will need to be built up gradually. Percy travels well in the car. He has history of being housetrained; he will need a refresher using positive reward training. He could cope with a reasonably busy household.

Could you be Percy's perfect match?

Small but sparky, Percy will bring joy and companionship to whoever adopts him. He loves to go out for long walks and is happy to walk in towns, the countryside, or fields. He walks gently on his lead and if it is raining, he likes to wear his raincoat. He is nervous of other dogs and prefers it when other dogs give him space. At home he is a chilled-out lad who loves a two-seater sofa to stretch out on. He adores being with you and to have a fuss and a snuggle. Percy loves treats which is ideal to teach him some basic training, fun, rewarding, and great for mental stimulation. He enjoys chasing after a ball and he likes the crinkly sounding toys.
