Polly's ideal home
Polly is sweet 12 year old Jack Russell with bags of love to offer, she has been with us for a little while in one of our wonderful foster homes whilst she worked on getting her skin to a better condition. Polly absolutely adores us humans, and would love a companion at home with her to keep her company. Polly is currently in a foster home with an older, calm female dog and does well with her but Polly is reactive to dogs out and about so her new home would need to consider this and be willing to continue training with her and/or walk in quiet areas.
Could you be Polly's perfect match?
Polly is a very affectionate little girl, she loves to entertain herself at home and play with her toys, she is super food motivated and this is great for training. Polly had a bad start to life and spent many years not leaving her home, so the big wide world is new to her and any dogs she see's out and about worry her, her new home will need to understand this and be willing to accommodate. Polly's skin was in a very bad way when she first came to us, completely hairless and red raw, she has now had treatment and is thriving, with most of her hair having grown back beautifully. This will need ongoing management to continue to improve. Polly so deserves a home to call her own again, and despite being 12, you wouldn't think it.
