Nugget's ideal home

Nugget is a gentle and sensitive soul who will truly shine in a calm, quiet home. She feels most comfortable in a peaceful environment and would appreciate a household with minimal visitors and managed introductions, especially as she settles into her new home. Once she feels secure, her sweet personality really comes through.

Because Nugget values her space and can be a little unsure around groups of people, we recommend a home with dog-savvy children, ideally of secondary school age. With understanding and patience, she’ll build confidence and become a wonderful companion.

Her perfect home would include a private, secure garden where she can safely explore and enjoy some quiet time outdoors. Quiet walking areas would be a lovely bonus to help her feel relaxed on her adventures.

Nugget has shown she can walk calmly alongside another dog, though she was a little uncomfortable with face-to-face greetings. She may enjoy the company of calm dogs on walks, but she would prefer to be the only dog in her home so she can have all the love and attention to herself.

Nugget is a delightful eight-year-old Terrier with a heart full of love and a gentle nature. After being found as a stray, she’s ready to start a new chapter in a caring home where she can feel safe and cherished.

She’s a sweet older girl who adores cuddles, is highly food-motivated, and loves exploring new places. Nugget thrives on companionship and enrichment, and her affectionate personality makes her a wonderful friend for someone who enjoys spending time together.

Because we don’t have her full history, Nugget may need a little support with housetraining and car travel, but she’s already shown how adaptable she can be. With treats and reassurance, she managed to settle during a car journey, and with gentle confidence-building, she’ll continue to improve.

Nugget does find being left alone difficult and may vocalise after a short time, so she’ll need a home where leaving hours are minimal and built up gradually. With patience and understanding, she’ll feel secure and happy.

This lovely girl is ready to share her life with someone who can offer her the comfort and companionship she deserves. Nugget will reward her new family with endless affection and loyalty.
