About This Dog for Adoption

Bean's ideal home

Bean is a very cute 3 year old Jack Russell terrier who is on the search for his furever home. He loves to be out and about anywhere where he can have a good sniff! New environments can make Bean feel nervous at times but if he is with one of his favourite people then it does not take long before he goes off exploring. Like new spaces, Bean may also be nervous and under confident when it comes to meeting new people but if you are patient with him he will soon come out of his shell and create a lovely bond with you. Bean can have doggy friends to go out on walks with but he can be unsure around some so confidence building around bigger, bouncier dogs is definitely something Bean would benefit from. He is able to live with sensible, primary school age children who know not to over-handle him as he has shown signs of appeasements around handling. Once Bean gets settled into his new home, he could cope with some leaving hours which are gradually increased the more confident he becomes.

Could you be Bean's perfect match?

Bean is such a lovely boy with so much love to give. He knows 'sit' and his recall to his name is really good! He is great with car travel and loves treats so any further training comes fairly easy if there is treats involved. Bean would benefit from confidence training around dogs and new environments especially more busy or over-crowded areas. He would be a great little companion.
