About This Dog for Adoption

Jill's ideal home

Jill is a sweet older girl looking for a retirement home where she can live out her golden years snoozing on a sofa! Jill is a 12yr old Terrier Cross who came into our care with bad skin, but she's on the road to recovery and she's feeling a lot more comfortable! She loves the company of people, and so would be looking for a family that would be around the majority of the time to help her settle in. Jill can be rehomed with older secondary school children but will have to be the only dog in the home so she can lap up all that love! Jill is still an active lady and LOVES her sniffy walks, so would love to get out and about for a few adventures. Jill can be worried of handling initially, so will need patient owners that are willing to go at her pace - but once she has built that trust and bond, she adores a fuss and a cuddle!

Could you be Jill's perfect match?

Jill loves her tennis balls, and is a very foody girl - this is the way to her heart! Jill does walk with other dogs but is mostly uninterested, so can enjoy a few walks with calm dogs that are just as independent! Jill really has missed her home comforts, and she needs a loving family that will give her the spot on the sofa she deserves (alongside a big snuggle!). Jill has been really good when receiving her medicated baths and will tolerate vet handling - she just needs owners to go nice and slow when first meeting, and she will soon be your best friend.
