About This Dog for Adoption

Mario's ideal home

Mario is a little dog with a big personality! He’s been at Dogs Trust for a while now and is on the search for a special home. Mario is anxious of new people and situations so requires multiple meets at the centre to ensure a good relationship is built prior to adoption. Mario loves to sit with known people and enjoys scratches. He is looking for an adult-only home with no other dogs, but he can have doggy walking friends. Mario will need ongoing training in his new home to help him adjust and feel more secure but our fabulous training team will be on hand to help support any adopters with this. Mario is currently on pain medication which will be discussed with any potential adopters.

Could you be Mario's perfect match?

Mario our 7 year old Terrier is always up for new adventures and exploring quiet locations. He tries his best to keep his kennel clean but may need a refresher in his new home. Mario will benefit from his time left alone being increased gradually to set him up to suceed, however once settled could be left for around 4 hours. Behaviour experience is required and breed research will be beneficial.
