Dexter's ideal home

Dexter is a lively and cheeky 6 year old Pug cross Jack Russell, he gets on well with everyone he meets and could live with secondary school aged children. Dexter gets on well with dogs and could live with another doggy friend in the home pending successful meets at the centre, but would be equally happy as the only dog. We don't have any information on how Dexter is with cats, but with careful introductions in the home, Dexter could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat. Dexter flourishes in a home environment with a relatively consistent routine, and finds being left alone a little stressful, especially when he is not expecting to be left. Dexter will make a wonderful addition to his new family and will bring lots of fun!

Dexter is a fun and friendly boy, he has lots of energy and loves to go on walks and explore to find all the good sniffs. He absolutely adores a quiet evening where he can cuddle up in his cost bed and snack on a stuffed Kong. He's also been trying out some new food puzzles here at the centre and is proving he can learn anything if he gets a tasty treat!
