James's ideal home

James is a handsome 2 year old JRT x on the search for his forever home. He can live with a resident dog in the home pending a successful meet here at the center and he would like a home where all children are over the age of 14. James has come to us from a rubbish background, where he was not exposed to a lot in his short life, so he has been very frightened here in the center. He is in need of a patient, understanding home who can let him come out of his shell in his own time. We don't believe that James has been left on his own before, so this would need to be gradually built up while he settles into his new home.

Could you be James's perfect match?

James is unlikely to build much of a bond here in the center, so the best scenario for James would be for potential adopters to meet him and not expect too much from him. We think you will see James thrive in a home environment where he can lap up all the love he has always deserved. Ideally, James would have a safe space he can retreat to if he feels overwhelmed, and a family that can offer him the patience and gentle hand he needs to really blossom.
