Eddie's ideal home

Eddie is a gorgeous 2 year old JRT cross looking for a patient, loving home to call his own. Eddie would love a home where all children are over 14 years old as he can be a bit worried. It would be beneficial for Eddie to be rehome with a calm, confident resident dog to show him the way, as we find dogs bring him so much more confidence. Eddie is a lovely boy who just needs some time to come out of his shell. He would love an enclosed safe space within his home where he can cuddle up with soft toys and blankets when he feels a bit overwhelmed.

Could you be Eddie's perfect match?

Eddie is looking for a home where he can get to know all the home comforts in his own time. He does struggle with handling initially so he would need understanding owners that are willing to give him the time to come out of his shell at his own pace. He is a foodie boy, so this is a great tool in helping him become your best friend. Although Eddie would ideally live with another dog in the home, management around food would be needed as Eddie does not like to share and has shown some guarding behaviours around his kennel mates. Due to Eddie's sheltered background, he would need someone who is willing to start his training from the beginning and help him feel secure in the home alone by building this time up gradually.
