About This Dog for Adoption

Roddy's ideal home

Roddy is a bright boy who can't wait to meet his family. While we don't know if Roddy has ever been around children before he'll be fine to live with children of around secondary school age. Roddy has the potential to live with other dogs too. Any match would need a successful meet in centre before adoption. As he can get a little worried about formal handling including have a lead put on he would love a secure garden that he can use for outside time and toileting.

Could you be Roddy's perfect match?

Roddy is a friendly young lad who came to us after being found as a stray. He is only 1 year old and loves to play. Roddy loves toys and playtime and this has helped him gain confidence meeting all the unfamiliar faces here at the centre. We don’t know if he’s been in a home before so he might appreciate an introduction to home life. He settles well in his kennel so should be ok being left for an hour or so, with a view to building on this once he’s familiar with his new surroundings. Roddy tries to remain housetrained in kennels so with access to a garden of his own and some tasty treats as a reward he should pick it up in no time. He is also a brave boy when it comes to the car. Travel is an unknown but he does try to get in, though found he was a bit too small to do so of his own accord. If you’re after a super playful pup then you’ll have one in Roddy as long as you can give him the time to find his paws first.
