Tucker's ideal home

We would love to introduce you to Tucker! He is a little Jack Russell with the most adorable pointy ears and big eyes. Tucker is 5 years old, and unfortunately it is evident from his nervousness that he hasn't had the best beginnings in life. Due to our lack of history on tucker, and his need for a quieter environment, he is looking for an adult only home or a family will older teenagers that understand nervous dogs. Tucker could live with another calm, confident dog that could help him feel more comfortable.
Tucker arrived to us as a stray, so we don't know how much he has experienced of home life. It would be great if his adopter could be at home with him to begin with while he settles into his new environment. This will also be great for bonding!
Tucker is currently finding walks a little bit overwhelming, so a home with a secure outdoor space would be great for hi to enjoy some fresh air and slowly get used to the different sights, smells and noises.

Tucker is a very sweet boy who needs that special someone to show him the fun and love in life! At the moment he is quite fearful and nervous, but is slowly showing us his lovable little personality, especially with the handlers that spend the most time with him! All Tucker needs is some patience and love. An adopter that has experience with nervous dogs would be great, but not necessary. He will need multiple meets here at the Centre, as well as at his new home in order to build a bit of a bond before moving in. This will also provide an opportunity to get lots of advice and insight from our training team working with Tucker!
