About This Dog for Adoption

Lilo's ideal home

Lilo is a fabulous 6-month-old Jack Russell Pug Crossbreed. She's full of personality and full of energy! She's a little standoffish when she first meets you, but with a few treats and a little space she soon comes round. once you're in the club you'll see how playful and downright adorable she is! She'll need her adopters to put in some time initially to settle her into her new home and slowly build her confidence around new people. She's a resilient little girl though so this should be relatively easy with a bit of consistency. He home will need to have a secure garden as she loves to play off-lead and it will help with her house training too.

Could you be Lilo's perfect match?

Lilo has lots of potential and has made quick progress with us. She will really suit a quiet home where she can settle into a predictable routine. This does mean that she'll need an adult only home where she'll be the only pet. She is working on her dog socialisation but this will be a work in progress for now. We'll happily help and support with any training as she settles into her new home. If you are looking for a fun and active little dog and don't mind a little training along the way then you might be a good match for Lilo. Add her to your favourites now!

Jack Russell Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Jack Russell Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Jack Russell Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
