About This Dog for Adoption
Brian's ideal home
Brian is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help build his confidence and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He can live with children aged 14 years and over who can play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when needed. Brian likes his own space and all the attention to himself so is looking to be the only pet in the home. He would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies, who will let him explore in peace. Brian has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, he is eager to engage in short and sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. He has been housetrained in the past, but may need a refresher in his new home so a private, secure garden is needed. Brian can get a little worried being left alone, so is looking for adopter who are home most of the time, especially to begin with, he could be left alone for up to an hour after he has had time to settle into his new home. Brian is on a special diet and will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
Could you be Brian's perfect match?
Sweet and scruffy boy Brian is a 2 year old Dachshund/Jack Russell cross who is super affectionate once he knows you. He will happily jump onto your lap and curl up for fusses and a snooze. He enjoys playtime, he especially loves to play with teddies and rubber toys and will play with his favourite human or alone. He is a foodie boy and loves a treat, although special treats to go along with his special diet, he does like vegetables too and will take them gently from the hand. This wonderful lad is looking for his new home now.
