About This Dog

Gizmo's ideal home

Gizmo can live with other dogs and children over the age of ten. He is house trained but doesn't enjoy being left by himself for too long and will become vocal if a crate is used when people are home.

Could you be Gizmo's perfect match?

Gizmo is a real live wire who is on the go from morning until night! He'd love to find an active family that can keep up with him and take him for lots of lovely long outdoor adventures. This cheeky chap has a habit of stealing personal items in the home so it would be worthwhile his new family teaching him a "drop" or "leave" command once home, to discourage it. Gizmo can live with other dogs but we'd advise that one who is very toy orientated might not be a suitable match, as there could be come conflict over what belongs to whom, as he'll happily nick it from right inside someone else's mouth! We know he has shown some reactive behaviours towards other dogs in the past but we haven't observed this at the centre, he's been happy to make friends. Gizmo likes meeting people too and can get a little over excited when there are visitors, but he settles after ten minutes or so. He is a super bright boy who loves training and will absolutely need a home with people who want to continue training with him, else he could find mischief elsewhere if his needs aren't being met.
