About This Dog

Colby's ideal home

Colby is a sweet little guy who has found himself here in our care after spending most of his life in a home. He's understandably found kennel life a little overwhelming but is slowly showing us his cheeky and sweet nature. Colby can take some time to make friends, but once you're in his trusted circle he loves nothing more than fuss and snuggles whilst sat on your lap! He's been loving playing in compounds here and is enjoying getting out and about with carers for lots of sniffy walks! He's looking for a calm and peaceful home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. Colby could live with children 16+ who can understand his fears and worries and give him any space he might need. He would like to be the only pet in his forever home and could socialise with calm and polite doggies out on his walks. Colby's new family will need to be able to get involved in his training here at the centre and be able to visit him a few times to build a relationship with him before he's ready to head off home. He's currently learning to wear his muzzle for when he see's the vet and is enjoying all the tasty treats he gets!

Could you be Colby's perfect match?

Sweet Colby will bring lots of love to the right family and is hoping to find a patient and understanding forever home that can help him with his fears and worries.
