Laid-back in her nature, Bella would be happiest in a home with older teens, who understand her need for space and respect her body language. She can also share her home with a small, calm dog that matches her easy-going temperament but is unsuitable to live with any other types of pets. While Bella is a little slower due to some aches in her back legs, she enjoys leisurely walks in quiet, traffic-free areas. She walks calmly on the lead and gets excited when it’s time to put on her harness, though her walks should be short and relaxing to suit her pace. Bella would benefit from a garden to help with her toilet routine and a home with minimal steps, as she finds navigating stairs a bit tricky.
