About This Dog

Gilly's ideal home

Gilly is an engaging, inquisitive and playful girl looking to find her forever home. She can be timid when she initially meets people but her true character shines through once she has built up some trust. Gilly is looking for a calm and quiet adult only home with not many visitors coming and going as she is worried by unexpected and sudden noises and movements. She is happy sleeping on her own overnight but in her foster home is used to having someone around for most of the day so would like a home with someone there to keep her company initially where she could slowly and gradually be built up to being left on her own for a little longer.

Could you be Gilly's perfect match?

Gilly is fond of a tasty treat and enjoys playing with snuffle balls and other puzzle toys that have treats in them. If there is no food involved she likes a squeaky toy to throw around or a sniff and some zoomies in the garden. In her foster home Gilly travels well in the car so has been for walks in different places like the countryside and along the beach, she walks well on the lead and is happy meeting other dogs and people when out and about. She could potentially share her new home with another doggy companion pending successful meets at the Rehoming Centre. When she comes back to the house Gilly enjoys snuggling up on the sofa beside her foster carers. Gilly is generally housetrained and will go to the door to ask to get out to the toilet. If you are interested in offering Gilly her forever home you can complete an application form and add her to your "favourite dogs".
