Ted's ideal home

Six-year-old Ted has been described by those who know him as "a delightful chap with a big heart". While he's very friendly with his favourite people, he's also a sensitive soul and looking for an easy going home, in a quiet area, where his new family are happy to learn to read his body language. Ted would be best suited to a home with older teens, due to his sensitive side and need for occasional space. Ted isn’t a fan of other dogs approaching him and will bark or snap, however he doesn’t pay too much attention if he passes other dogs at a suitable distance. He would like quieter walking areas where other are less likely to be off lead dogs and he would need to be the only dog in the home. Ted tries to be clean in the home and will sit at the back door when he needs to go out. He may need some support as he adjusts to new routines, and would benefit from additional training so that he tells his new family when he needs to go out.

Could you be Ted's perfect match?

Ted absolutely LOVES to be close to his humans, and is especially keen to snuggle up on the sofa next to them, or play a fun game with his toys. His favourite game is 'tug' and letting him win 9/10 will keep his tail wagging! He'd make for a great adventure buddy, as he adores his walks, but does prefer to walk quieter routes, away from any busy roads, or the hustle and bustle of busy dog parks and town centres.
