Cookie can live with children of high school age but no other pets. She is house trained but not used to being left by herself very often.

Cookie came to us through no fault of hers and she is a sweet as her name suggests. She just loves long walks in the country, despite her little legs, and will be ready for all kinds of adventures once she's settled in. Cookie is a shy girl and is easily overwhelmed, often stopping on her walks to take in everything around her and have a little breather. She's much happier away from the kennels and likes to explore the woods. A slow approach goes a long way with Cookie and she likes to take her time to come to you, rather than you make a beeline for her. She's very small and some times big things can be scary! Cookie can be very avoidant of other dogs and we'd advise that she be the only dog at home whilst she adjusts to her new life. We know she has bags of potential and she should be encouraged to have some calm friends for walkies whilst she settles in.
