About This Dog

Lemmy's ideal home

9-year-old Lemmy requires a home with a maximum of two adults and needs to be the only pet in the home. Lemmy is looking for a quiet, rural location with a secure garden (6 foot fenced) to enjoy. His leaving time could be gradually built up to 1-2 hours once he has settled into his new environment. If you rent your property, please obtain written permission from your landlord prior to applying.

Could you be Lemmy's perfect match?

Lemmy is a little ball of energy! For those that think he will be in his twilight years, don’t be fooled, Lemmy will be more than happy to keep up with you! Lemmy has spent a long time in kennels and so is looking for a patient family who would be willing to help him slowly adjust to home life along with our support. If you were to ask Lemmy what his favourite thing in life is, the answer would always be food and tennis balls; unfortunately he missed his calling as the next Wimbledon ball-boy, and so a family keen on playing a game of fetch and utilising that smart brain of his is a must! Lemmy can show concerns around handling, so a family willing to take a hands off approach initially whilst he builds a relationship with you is essential; in turn, you will get the most perfect, loving companion. We can't wait to help Lemmy find his forever home and a family to call his own!
