About This Dog

Peppy's ideal home

Peppy is a one-of-a-kind pooch who has an abundance of character, and just as much love to give. His perfect match would be an adult-only family with minimal visitors and no visiting children, who share his passion for the outdoors, and who have the time, as well as the desire, to continue working with him on his training. Peppy is super smart and keen to learn, so he makes for an excellent student! While he will need to be the only pet at home, he enjoys walking next to a familiar doggy pal and has progressed brilliantly with his social skills. However, he can find seeing other dogs out and about frustrating at times, so would prefer quieter walks, where meeting other dogs can be well-managed with support from his humans. Similarly, he’s seeking a home that’s situated in a quieter location, away from built up areas. A secure garden of his own is essential, so that he can regularly burn off some steam. Another essential requirement is a multi-carer household, so that there’s always someone around to keep him company, as he finds alone-time challenging. Peppy thrives with a predictable routine and our training team will be on hand to help him settle into his new home and guide his new adopters through his training.

Could you be Peppy's perfect match?

This fun-loving eight-year-old is full of energy and will thrive with an active family who can fill his life with fun and adventure, while keeping him entertained with all his favourite activities. Peppy is extremely smart and enjoys food-based enrichment puzzles, long walks in varied places and learning new tricks. An affectionate boy, Peppy prefers any tactile interactions to be on his terms, so it’s advised to always let him come to you. Toys are one of his most favourite things of all and he’ll become puppy-like when receiving a new toy to play with, charging around in a state of zoomies and excitement! Rotating his toy-box with a variety to choose from will keep him feeling very happy.
