About This Dog

Carter's ideal home

Carter is a sensitive boy who has noise sensitivities and can find things overwhelming. For this reason he is looking for a quiet, adult-only home. Carter has previously shown signs of resource guarding so needs a family that are prepared to manage this and continue working on his training. Our team will be on hand to offer support and advice if needed. Carter needs to be the only pet in the home but can share walks with some calm, well-matched doggy friends.

Could you be Carter's perfect match?

Carter is 4 years old and would love to find understanding and patient owners. It takes him a little time to build relationships but once he’s made friends he is a real sweetheart. The way to Carter’s heart is through toys! He absolutely loves playing and will happily play all day with a toy; the squeakier the better! Carter can be worried by new indoor spaces so his family will need to be considerate and willing to work on his ongoing training. He has a good history of being left home alone, and can be left for a few hours at a time once he’s settled.
