About This Dog

Scrappy's ideal home

Scrappy is a 2 year old terrier cross with a cheeky character and a real zest for life. Being a youngster, Scrappy loves plenty of fun things to do, he thinks toys are great fun and particularly enjoys a teddy. He’s an affectionate little guy who enjoys sitting on a lap for a fuss and a massage and can share his new home children of 14 years who are comfortable with energetic dogs. Scrappy is a bundle of energy and will suit an active family who enjoy rural walks and exploring new walking areas, he’s a good boy in the car so travelling to interesting walking spots is a breeze.
Scrappy’s walking areas need to be mostly free of other dogs or have enough space so he can be walked at a fair distance from them, he is comfortable wearing his muzzle on his walks and will need to continue to do so in his new home. He must be the only animal in his home so is not able to live with other dogs, cats, small animals or birds. A family who have plenty of time to provide Scrappy with an enriching lifestyle and who are enthusiastic about continuing reward based training with their new canine companion, will be ideal for this fun little pup. Scrappy will need his new adopters to be within a 2 hours drive from the rehoming centre – BN43 5LT.

Could you be Scrappy's perfect match?

Playful in nature Scrappy, has a huge personality compared to his size. He will bring a lot of joy to an active family who match his energy level and enjoy the great outdoors as much as he does. Scrappy will benefit hugely from adopters who are happy to support him and continuing with his training. More than anything, Scrappy loves human company and especially hopping up onto your lap for cuddles after a good walk, he adores all kinds of doggy games and is very smart, it's a great opportunity for him to use his brain. If you are looking for a fun little Terrier to join your family, Scrappy could be your perfect match! Please note: If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted. If you would like more information about adopting any of our dogs, or you are considering a variety of dogs and would like our team’s help to find your pawfect match, we would love you to visit us at our rehoming centre to chat with us in person.
