Posey's ideal home
Posey is a 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She is a sweet older lady who is looking for a calm and quiet home to retire to. She could live with children aged 11 years old and above. Posey will need to be the only pet in the home due to her needing a little help with her doggy social skills, and having a high chase drive around cats. Once settled in the home, Posey could potentially be left for a few hours at a time, providing that this has been built up slowly. She travel well in a car and travels best in a crate. Posey is currently on some pain management medication for her legs, which will need to be continued in her new home.

Posey is a sweetheart who would like nothing more than to find an understanding owner who is willing to go slow, as Posey does enjoy a fuss on her terms. She can occasionally bark at dogs due to frustration but up close will have a polite sniff and has mixed with other dogs at the centre. She can find the outside world a little overwhelming, so is looking for a cosy, calm home where she can relax and be taken on some quiet countryside walks. She even knows some basics commands like sit! Posey is lovely lady who would like to find her forever home and that special someone to curl up next to on the sofa. She will make a lovely addition to a home.
