Introducing Jack, a 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier looking for his forever home. Jack is a character with a big personality. He will need a patient and experienced owner who has experience with anxious dogs and can read their body language. Jack will need an adult-only home with no other dogs, but he could potentially have walking friends after a slow introduction.
If you're interested in adopting Jack, be prepared for multiple meets at the centre to build a bond with him at his own pace. Jack will need ongoing training in his new home to help him adjust and feel more secure. Jack has to wear a muzzle at the vet or in busy places but he is happy to do so.
Jack has led a sheltered life, so will need a home with minimal visitors until he has built a strong bond with his new family. Once he feels comfortable, Jack loves nothing more than jumping up onto your knee and receiving lots of love and attention.
