Jack

Jack's ideal home

Jack is fairly receptive to other dogs at the centre, but would prefer to play with his own toys than have much interaction with them. He gives a friendly sniff and then trots off to do his own thing, and we think he'd be more content as the only pet but might like some calm walking pals to go to the park with. Jack's behaviour around the front door means that his new family must have a way of separating him from the front door when necessary. He also needs an ADULT ONLY home.

Could you be Jack's perfect match?

Jack is a complex little chap who has been through the mill the last few months. His first owner passed away and Jack came into our care and was quickly adopted. However, he has struggled to settle at home, particularly when there are people knocking at doors or by windows. We believe he is noise sensitive and away from that busy home environment, he has settled well back into kennels. He's always excited to see people he's comfortable with and enjoys going for walks but prefers the quiet areas of the centre or park next door. Jack loves to play with toys (although he can be a little unreasonable with tennis balls!)and is used to travelling in the car. He absolutely LOVES water, and it can be hard to get him out of the pool when the weather is warm!
