Poppy J's ideal home

Poppy J is a gentle older girl, who at 11 years old has found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Her ideal home would be in a quiet environment, both indoors and outdoors, without many sudden loud noises as she finds this overwhelming. She could share her home with children but again, would like them to be of an age where they can understand her need for a quiet home. Poppy J does bark at other dogs on walks but is able to socialise with dogs of her own size once she has had a chance to say hello. She wouldn't like to share her home with other pets. Poppy J doesn't mind being left on her own if you need to pop out but she travels well in the car if you'd like to bring her with you. A garden isn't necessary but if you have one, she'll show you her impressive zoomies when the mood strikes.

Poppy J is currently in foster where she has made herself at home straight away. She is a gentle girl who enjoys being in your company throughout the day - if her foster carer is in the garden Poppy J is usually on a blanket monitoring her efforts. She loves a fuss and affection from anyone she meets, although she does like to make herself known to you before you come in. She loves going for a walk but will let you know when it's time to head back, which is usually after around 30-45 minutes. Poppy J is a very sweet little girl and will be a lovely companion for someone with a quieter lifestyle.
